Video Stores:
Video Quest in Clayton Park has a sign on their door that dogs on leash are allowed in, and they even have cookies behind the counter for them! I got emails from Mary and Bailey and Joanne and Simba both telling me about Video Quest. There are apparently 2 locations - one in Bayer's Lake and one in Clayton Park and both allow dogs! The location in Clayton Park is on Parkland Drive.
Tiffany and her dog Gator get THEIR movies at The Blockbuster on Wyse Road (in the mini mall with IGA, CIBC, etc.) in Dartmouth!! because they allow dogs as well, as long as they are on a leash.
Right next door to Canadian Tire on Quinpool Road in Halifax is Rogers Video - Leah and her St. Bernard Hutch have gone in there to pick out video's and Leah says they even have cookies behind the counter for the dogs! So that's 2 stores right next to each other that are dog friendly! Quinpool Road is another street that's becoming GREAT for dogs!!
Amanda says that the Roger's Video in Clayton Park is ALSO dog friendly - so Roger's Video sounds like a SUPER chain of video stoes!

Charlie loves Halifax has been on the internet since May of 2002 and has had over 100,000 hits from local dog lovers since then. It is a site maintained completely and solely by one (1) person and her dogs completely and utterly for her own pleasure and her personal beliefs about how she would like the Halifax Regional Municipality to become more dog friendly, and what she believes to be a lovely view of what the world is, and how what it can become. If you agree with her view of this dog-centric world - that is super-fant-abulous. If you don't - that is too bad, but that is your opinion - just as everything on this website is - the opinion and beliefs of one person.
