Computer Type Stores!

I'm glad there IS a dog friendly Staples - because in July 2007 I was at the Staples in Bayer's Lake and they a new sign very prominently displayed "no pets in store please" - so you can be sure I didn't go there after I saw that sign!
I had an email from Tari and her Nova Scotia Duck Toller River - (I wonder which kennel she got her puppy from - haha!) - who has been acting very brave in the name of dog friendliness and has been going out and pushing the boundaries of where she takes her dog River and doing what I suggest and seeking out worst case scenarios to see if she gets kicked out of places - and one place that has completely surprised her is the Future Shop in Bayer's Lake - she and her husband have been going in there with River - and they have loved River every time they've gone in! So if you're going in there to buy your big ticket items - you should take your canine companion with you - because it seems as if the Future Shop understands the value of your hard earned dollar! Isn't that fabulous? I've also had an email from Yoshiko who said that she has had no problems at all in the Future Shop with her daschund - I have personally spent $1,000's of dollars in there - so I think Buttercup SHOULD be able to go in there!
I can also confirm that as I've gone to the Future Shop out in Bayer's Lake with Buttercup - and since enormous amounts of money with Buttercup in my arms - and they've taken my money every time!
I've also had an email from Heather and her weimeraner Caspar who go to the Future Shop over in Dartmouth Crossing - and they are also dog friendly - so the Future shop is great for spending money with your dog! I have to say that Dartmouth Crossing in general is very dog friendly.
The owner of Greenlyph (Frank) - which is a computer store on Queen Street in Halifax was surfing the net and found my website and took the time to email me to tell me that his store is dog-friendly! They sell and service computer stuff - you order it on his website and pick it up in his retail store.
I had an email from the owner of Robotnik.com and he said that dogs are welcome in his store. It is located in Bayer's Lake at 32 McQuade Lake Crescent. They service and sell computer stuff on-line. The web site is at robotnik.com You order the stuff at the web site and pick it up at the store. I have used these guys and they are actually super! They are young, friendly, good looking :), and know what they're talking about - and they'll charge you the right price, which was refreshing!
I had an email from Char who said that she was in Carsand Mosher out in
Bayer's Lake and while she was there another customer came in with a
well-behaved dog and they were warmly welcomed! That is such good news
for Carsand Mosher! I have also spent a lot of money at Carsand Mosher
while I've had Buttercup with me - so I can confirm that Carsand Mosher
is dog friendly.

Charlie loves Halifax has been on the internet since May of 2002 and has had over 1,000,000 hits from local dog lovers since then. It is a site maintained completely and solely by one (1) person and her dogs completely and utterly for her own pleasure and her personal beliefs about how she would like the Halifax Regional Municipality to become more dog friendly, and what she believes to be a lovely view of what the world is, and how what it can become. If you agree with her view of this dog-centric world - that is super-fant-abulous. If you don't - that is too bad, but that is your opinion - just as everything on this website is - the opinion and beliefs of one person. If you believe them to be anything more than that - you have been mis-informed and have given me an importance anyone would lust after, but I certainly do not covet. Thanks for reading....
